BUILDING A CLIMATE FOR JOBS IN OHIO

    1.LAYING THE FOUNDATION

    A. Each congressional and senate district would employ a planning coordinator. Their job would be to work through the local towns, villages, and cities to develop marketing strategies for the district. You could expand this by then forming regional planning/marketing boards with the coordinators.

    B. Each municipality would contribute one (1) member to be the liaison to the coordinator and represent them at any planning sessions, forming a planning board in each district.

    C. The board would identify business need in any given area and work at funding any needed infrastructure through private and public venues.

    2. BRING IN THE BUILDILG MATERIALS

    A. LOWER STATE CORPRATE TAXES.This can be done through state legislation, however a petition drive may help that along.

    B. INCENTIVES TO BUSINESS. On both a state and federal level through tax breaks or reductions, incentives to businesses that bring in satellite business. This can be done by allowing the sponsoring business to share in tax revenue over a set period of time through tax breaks or cash. How they entice companies to come will be left up to them.

    3. BUILDING THE WORKFORCE

    A. Bring classes into our vocational schools geared toward manufacturing, with machine specific training. Sit down with the manufacturer and find out what is needed. Work with them to create a management-specific course.

    B. Put an employment agency in the vocational schools to aggressively seek out and meet employers needs.

    C. Devote 5% of  each vocational school’s total square footage to Innovation. This would take the form of workshops complete with tools, computer labs with the latest innovations, all open to the public with one requirement (that you have an Idea). The schools my even be able to fund this through corporate sponsorships.

    4.CAPPING THE ROOF

    A. As a Country, State, and District if we want to hold on to our livelihood we must protect it. Taxing imports is almost always the idea that comes up, but lets take a look at something else: NO DIRECT SALES BY FOURIEGN ENITIES TO THE PUBLIC OR DOWN LINE MANUFACTURING, all sales would have to go through an American-based company selling like goods. To qualify as an American-based company you would have to have 60% of your manufacturing base, right here in America. This would force foreign companies to sell through several American based companies.

Example: My company is an American based company buying raw steel from the Chinese . I also sell raw steel that I process from  materials purchased from mining operations here in America . I can not allow the foreign steel to equal more then 40% of my lowest sustainable output without losing my American based designation, at which point I would lose my right to sell in America.
